Modern Silicon Breast Implants anyone?
Dr James Romanelli , a board certified plastic surgeon practicing in Huntington, New York, illustrates how the various implant types reacts to tears and ruptures.
The modern “gummy bear” or solid, high-cohesive, form-stable implants is in preliminary stages in the United States but have been widely use in other parts of the world since more than 10 years ago. It has shown to be significantly safer and with better efficacy over the older implants which has lower rates of capsular contracture and rupture.”
Witness how, even as it was cut into half, the modern implant ( Natrelle implant) maintains its form and do not leak. It looks impressive… but only time will tell if these implants, when ruptured, will not have any detrimental side effects or harm our body over time.

Now that silicone has been deemed safe in the US, American women should choose silicone instead of saline.
From Wikipedia:
“Saline-filled implants were most common implant used in the United States during the 1990s due to restrictions that existed on silicone implants, but were rarely used in other countries. …, but as compared to silicone gel implants, saline implants are more likely to cause cosmetic problems such as rippling, wrinkling, and to be noticeable to the eye or the touch.”
Silicone gel implants, the ones commonly called “gummy bears,” are indeed available in an anatomical shape. In fact, many surgeons find the anatomical shape to be particularly appropriate for this implant type, since it will hold its shape rather than re-shape to the effects of gravity. As a result, a round silicone gel implant may create too much fullness in the upper portion of the breast. A plastic surgeon can show you each implant shape and talk with you about what will best meet your needs.
is it possible to get these gummy bear implants anatomically shaped? or do they only come as round?
That’s an interesting question, but I’ll admit I’ve never heard of having to go through several stages of breast augmenation. In my experience, a reputable surgeon will recommend a single procedure with your desired implant size, but the best source of information is talking with a plastic surgeon directly.
well thank you for these videos, they are very informing and interesting, im planning on getting implants, but ive heards that i haver to start with small ones and then move up little by little is that true or is it safe to just get the desired size in one operation.
they’re not traditional silicone though. they’re far more stable and safe. the gel is so thick it can’t be introduced via trans-umbilical method.
gummi bear implants are silicone
Hey I just got my saline implants 3 weeks ago with dr robert rey from dr 90210 im not sure if u have seen his show or not but anyway i love my implants they are so much safer and better for you, the only thing i would of changed is the size I would have liked to get them bigger because what u see when they show u is the size but you have to take into consideration that they wil lbe put under the muscle so of course there not going to look as big as when u see the saline bags in the office
go with gummi bear implants. they’re safer than silicone, and the most realistic material out there (cohesive gel)
Wow i was thinking about getting saline implants until i saw this video! I guess alot of websites need to update their information on silicone gel implants because these ones seem so much safer than the old ones! Im thinking about getting implants within the next year so if anyone wants to offer advice please send me a message i would so much rather hear from real positive women rather than negative stories i hear on tv thank you!
I have had saline implants for 11 years now and had one deflate on me a week ago. I am going to have surgery to remove and replace my saline with silicone which were not available when I had them done originally. I think that I will be happier with the silicone more than I have been with the saline. It is hard to find information or other women who have had a rupture, but in a lot of ways I am happy that it happened, now I can have what I have wanted all along.
I would like to get bigger breasts with the 850cc silicone breast implants. My goal is to get breast augmentation and breast lifts.
as far as i know in the US anyway you are only offered saline for your first time some stupid legal stuff,i wanted the modern too,but wasnt even offered it,im thinking i wanna say the law is you must have saline first for 2 years before getting silicone
I have teardrop ‘Gummies’I wouldn’t change them for anything else!
i have saline implants and i lovee them! they feel real after they drop!!!
I would like to have naturally perky bras
pointy ones are weird ;/
just use pointy bras
I would like to get implants.. but I’m scared of all the stories and it leeking/opening .
Also, how does it feel ?
Does it feels strange having this in your boob?
Also, even in the unlikely event that it DOES migrate out of the implant shell….it is even more unlikely that it would migrate out of the scar shell that has formed around the implant. Even if THAT happened…silicone has been proved to have no adverse health effects on the body and therefore it would only be a messy clean up for your plastic surgeon…
I seriously think the manufacturers would have considered that don’t you think? There is no way your bodies normal heat level can effect the consistency of the silicone…lol
Well im sticking to the saline filled! I’ve had saline run through my veins before!
you guys still have to understand that after that silicone implant is warmed up by body heat after a long period of time the gel will not stay in tact. In fact, the gel will turn to goo! Then what happpens if the silicone breast burst? hmm.. leak into the breast and cause little to major damage!
im really happy i watched this, im started to do all my research on different types and such. i plan to get mine done in a month or so. even though saline is turning out to be better for you, i’m probably going with the modern.
